Flaine is the highest resort in Grand Massif in France and is situated in the northern part of the French Alps in the Haute-Savoie region, between Geneva and Chamonix Mont Blanc. Also surrounded by Les Portes du Soleil in the North, by the Aravis in the East, and in the south by the Mont Blanc region, it is close to major airports (Geneva, Annecy, Lyon), train stations (Cluses, Annecy, Annemasse) and the A 40 motorway.
