Jenny is a natural sport person and
has been skiing since she was 3.
At 12 she had to decide between her
two passions of tennis and skiing, deciding to make her
career in skiing.
At the age of 19 she was wining FIS
races in the Salom, Slalom Giant, super G ,downhill. She
competed for the French National team on the European
circuit for 6 years.
Although getting a world ranking of 72 and coming 100th in the world cup downhill
ranking,
here career was hindered by some serious ski injuries.
She retired from pressures of the
international circuit at 22 due. Though she still
competes in the local annual Ski Instructor French
Championship where she was unlucky to take only second
place, losing by a few seconds one of the guys.
Since leaving competitive skiing
Jenny has worked as a freelance instructor in the winter
months teaching for various international ski schools,
working on the British army and developing the
techniques of clients preparing for the French and
English ski
teaching exams.
In her spare time she takes deaf
and blind children onto the slopes to experience the
thrill of skiing.
In the summer months she
travels for
pleasure in South America, though her main reason for
being in this part of the world is her active
involvement in number of charitable projects that are
attempting to creating the sustainable and developing
environment for schools in remote areas of North
Argentina.
Jenny is a graduate from IUT Annecy Univeristy
in Business.
