Ski Instructor Jenny Vallier

Jenny is a natural sport person and has been skiing since she was 3.

At 12 she had to decide between her two passions of tennis and skiing, deciding to make her career in skiing.

At the age of 19 she was wining FIS races in the Salom, Slalom Giant, super G ,downhill. She competed for the French National team on the European circuit for 6 years.

Although getting a world ranking of 72 and coming 100th in the world cup downhill ranking, here career was hindered by some serious ski injuries.

She retired from pressures of the international circuit at 22 due. Though she still competes in the local annual Ski Instructor French Championship where she was unlucky to take only second place, losing by a few seconds one of the guys.

Since leaving competitive skiing Jenny has worked as a freelance instructor in the winter months teaching for various international ski schools, working on the British army and developing the techniques of clients preparing for the French and English ski teaching exams.

In her spare time she takes deaf and blind children onto the slopes to experience the thrill of skiing.

In  the summer months she travels for pleasure in South America, though her main reason for being in this part of the world is her active involvement in number of charitable projects  that are attempting  to creating the sustainable and developing environment for schools in remote areas of North Argentina.

Jenny is a graduate from IUT Annecy Univeristy in Business.
