Morillon:
With a rich history, you will see 500-year-old homes and houses. Its a popular summer and winter family holiday destination like all the other villages.
Morillon has a Poma telecabine that departs from just outside the village and links up to the Grand Massif ski area consisting of 265km of ski runs over the five resorts of Morillon, Samoens, Flaine, Les Carroz, and Sixt. Only an hour’s drive from Geneva Airport, this resort has very easy access.
Morillon is a French family resort, which is suitable for both winter and summer activities. During the winter, Morillon offers great opportunities for alpine skiing, cross country skiing, airborne sports and many other activities. Morillon offers a total of 265 km of slopes, which culminates at 2500 meters, that is 1000 acres of traced slopes having 75 ski lifts. The summers in Morillon offers activities like hiking, climbing, fishing, bathing, canoeing, rafting and potholing.

When it comes to accommodation, Morillon offers everything from Bed and Breakfast to fancy hotels. There are also private owners who are renting out their furnished flats in the area. Ski Chalets is also a popular form of accommodation and the traditional chalets in Morillon certainly offer a very memorable holiday experience.
Morillon is also the home ski area of current Olympic Downhill Gold Medalist Antoine Deneriaz.
