TRAVEL TO FLAINE BY TRAIN

The ski season is just a couple of months away and you might be making plans for your ski holiday in the French Alps Swiss Alps. This time, instead of booking flight tickets, consider a train journey to the slopes. Travelling by train can be a great experience because its easy- board a train in London and reach Europe's finest ski areas and resorts overnight.

Eurostar Direct Ski Train –

The Eurostar Snow Train can be boarded at the new London St Pancras terminal or from Ashford International in Kent, which will speed you direct to the Alpine gateways of Moutiers, Aime La Plagne and Bourg St Maurice, just minutes away from dozens of celebrated ski resorts.

Eurostar Snow Train Destinations:
Reach the pistes hassle free and without the needs for lengthy transfers. Hit the slopes just moments after you get off the train. The first stop is at Moutiers : the popular ski resort of Meribel  with its vast area of ski slopes is just minutes from here. Meribel is a long time favourite with the British and just a 15 minute shuttle bus ride away.
The other resorts nearby are: Stylish Courchevel with chic restaurants and accommodation, elegance and charm of its own with exciting après ski. Snowboarders’ favourite of Les Arcs is just a short journey from Bourg St Maurice and glorious Tignes guarantees superb mountain scenery and snow cover well into spring. The Eurostar Snow Train runs from December  until April.

The Snow Train runs from London St Pancras and Ebbs fleet International, Kent, delivering skiers to four key ski areas in the French Alps: Les Trois Vallees, Paradiski, Mont Blanc and Espace Killy.

Your journey starts early on a Friday evening with a Eurostar service leaving from either St. Pancras or Ebbsfleet International in Kent, taking you to Paris Gare du Nord.  On arrival in Paris, you have to transfer to another platform to board the overnight Snow Train service to the French Alps. The Snow Train arrives in the French Alps early on Saturday morning.
